ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) is a modern, environmentally-friendly pressure treatment that uses copper and quaternary ammonium compounds. It is a replacement for CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenate) which contained arsenic. ACQ is considered safer for residential use, especially around children and pets, while providing equivalent or better protection.
The green color from ACQ treatment will gradually fade to a silver-grey over 6-12 months when exposed to sunlight. This is normal and does not affect anti-corrosion performance. If you prefer to maintain a darker color, you can apply outdoor wood stain or oil annually.
Yes. ACQ-treated wood is suitable for pool decks. Chlorinated water may accelerate surface wear. We recommend our enhanced marine-grade option for direct water immersion applications.
MOQ is 10 m² for standard sizes. For large projects (100 m²+), we offer project pricing with additional discounts. Custom sizes require 50 m² MOQ.
Yes. We have extensive experience shipping wood products worldwide. Boards are bundled with moisture-proof wrapping and packed in containers with desiccant. FOB Chongqing or CIF to your destination port.
